Two Olivier Nominations to Talented Performer!

We are pleased to announce that Michael Xavier, one of our UK performers for The Three Waiters received two nominations at the coveted Olivier Awards 2011 earlier this week in London. The award nominations were for “Best Actor in a Musical” for his role as Oliver Barrett IV in Love Story as well as “Best Performance in a Supporting Role in a Musical” for his role as the Prince and the Wolf in Into the Woods. Michael performed live to a packed house of the who’s who of British theatre, and entertained such icons as Angela Lansbury, Stephen Sondheim, and Cameron MacKintosh.

Michael’s other lead roles on the West End include Raoul in Phantom of the Opera, Sir Galahad in Spamalot, Sky in Mama Mia and Freddy in My Fair Lady.

Mark Bradley, creator of the award winning international act, The Three Waiters has put his name to the brand that has become a global phenomenon.

Mark Bradley International (formerly Mardar Entertainment) owns and manages The Three Waiters worldwide.

Credited to working with over 12,000 events throughout the past 23 years, there is no doubt that Bradley, the Creative Director and CEO of the company, is one of the worlds most experienced authorities in the field of special event entertainment.

Previously a professional singer of opera and music theatre, by 1997 Bradley was at the top of his field as a professional social and event photographer shooting for publications as Vogue, Mode, Marie Claire, and a long list of clients as Cartier, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Moet & Chandon to name a few.

One evening after jokingly dressing as a “waiter” with a colleague and singing Christmas carols at an event for Lachlan Murdoch, Bradley came up with the idea of forming an act with three singers dressed as waiters, sending up The Three Tenors.

Royal Performance in Singapore

We were privileged to be called to Singapore to perform for none other than His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco at a special fundraising event for the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco. As His Highness had seen and loved The Three Waiters in the past, we had to come in a new disguise.

Happily, the Prince and his guests enjoyed our performance just as much as the first time, and indeed were as completely taken by the ruse as they had been with The Three Waiters. In fact, the Prince actually called one of our performers, masquerading as a Two Star Michelin Chef, over to his table for a private audience earlier in the evening. Imagine his surprise later when the chef returned and turned out to be a world class singer!

At the end of another busy and exciting week for The Three Waiters, we were delighted to perform at the very beautiful wedding of Rhiannon Stock & Mark Bailey, which was set in the glorious rolling countryside of Powys Wales.

In addition to the wedding party itself who all looked resplendent, celebrity Rock Diva Bonnie Tyler was amongst the invited guests and happily posed with our delighted performers after the show. “They were fabulous”, she said.”Absolutely amazing!”

Coming from Bonnie, it just doesn’t get any better than that !

Three Waiters Success at the CONFERENCE AWARDS 2010.

The Three Waiters made a great impact at the inaugural Conference Awards on Friday 25th June 2010.

“They were superb really entertaining, got all the guest involved and really did create a fantastic atmosphere over lunch.” (Juliet Gamblen, Conference Awards)

The awards recognises and rewards excellence of individuals involved in creating great events and conferences.

It was therefore a fitting tribute to the 400 strong conference professionals, including the nominees and winners, that they were entertained by The Three Waiters.
